Aaron Sansoni Foundation
CREATING REAL CHANGE WHERE IT’S NEEDED
About the foundation
Founded by Aaron and Elena Sansoni, the Aaron Sansoni Foundation was established to create real change where it’s needed. With both founders growing up in underprivileged backgrounds, the foundation holds a strong focus towards raising money for charities within Australia. Our goal is to create national awareness and funds for our charity partners while calling upon our large volunteer networks to assist us serving those who need it.
Every year the Aaron Sansoni Foundation chooses a not-for-profit charity to partner with and give back to. We believe in fewer barriers and more donations getting to where they’re needed, which is why the total operating cost of the Aaron Sansoni Foundation is covered by Aaron Sansoni to ensure the maximum percentage of donations goes to where it should. When we say every cent goes to those in need, that’s exactly what we mean.
In 2018 we partnered with OzHarvest and our goal was to raise $125,000 to feed a quarter of a million of those who are disadvantaged. We are delighted to say we achieved that goal!
In 2019 we partnered with the Starlight Foundation. Starlight are Australia’s broadest reaching children’s charity and with no government funding – they rely solely on community support to deliver their hospital and community programs, and achieve their mission, which is ‘to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families’. We are proud to say we brightened the lives of over 857 seriously ill children.
In 2020 we partnered with the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to raise funds to donate to the front line. These funds went directly towards the townships and families affected by the bushfires.
In 2021-2023 the Aaron Sansoni Foundation has been raising funds for Monash Health to raise funds for the newly built Monash Medical Centre Paediatric Emergency Department. These funds are for a space dedicated just for children, designed to minimise the impact of visiting Emergency Department on their wellbeing.
