Auction Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions for Auction Participation
The following terms and conditions apply to the silent and live auctions facilitated by ASGI during the Awards Night event. By participating in the auction, all bidders and donors agree to the following:

Auction Facilitator

  1. The auction is organised and facilitated by ASGI (Aaron Sansoni Group International). ASGI’s role is limited to organising and managing the auction process.

Auction Items

  1. All items and experiences offered in the auction are donated by members, students, and supporters of ASGI. The descriptions of items and experiences are provided by the donors and are believed to be accurate. ASGI does not warrant the quality or condition of any auction items.

Donor Responsibilities

  1. Donors are responsible for providing accurate descriptions and estimated values of the items they donate. Donors are also responsible for ensuring that the items are available for the winning bidder in a timely manner. It is therefore the bidder’s sole responsibility to determine and to satisfy itself by such means as it considers necessary or desirable as to all matters pertaining to the items to be bid.

Bidding Process

  • Silent Auction: Bidding for silent auction items will take place during the designated silent auction period. Bidders must write their bids on the bid sheets provided. The highest bid at the close of the auction period will be the winning bid.
  • Live Auction: Bidding for live auction items will be conducted by an auctioneer. Bidders will raise their paddles or otherwise indicate their bids. The highest bid acknowledged by the auctioneer will be the winning bid.

Payment

  1. Winning bidders must pay for their items in full by the end of the Awards Night event. Accepted forms of payment will be specified by ASGI. Failure to make payment may result in the item being offered to the next highest bidder.

Collection and Transport of Items

  1. ASGI is not responsible for the transport, delivery, or logistics of auction items. Winning bidders must arrange for the collection and transport of their items directly with the donor. Any costs associated with the transport or delivery of auction items are the responsibility of the winning bidder.

Item Condition and Warranties

  1. All auction items are offered “as is.” ASGI makes no representations or warranties regarding the condition, value, or authenticity of auction items. Bidders are advised to inspect items where possible before bidding.

Liability

  1. ASGI shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the auction, including but not limited to, any disputes between donors and winning bidders, or any issues related to the use or enjoyment of auction items.

Use of Proceeds

  1. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Aaron Sansoni Foundation, supporting their charitable activities and initiatives.

Changes and Cancellations

  1. ASGI reserves the right to make changes to the auction terms and conditions, or to cancel the auction at any time for any reason. Any changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.

Dispute Resolution

  1. Any disputes arising from the auction will be resolved at the sole discretion of ASGI. Decisions made by ASGI regarding auction matters are final.

By participating in the auction, all bidders and donors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
